How long does it typically take to complete a project?
Most projects take 1-2 days to install and are completed within 2 weeks of order.
During your consultation, we’ll provide a realistic estimate based on your specific needs. We prioritize efficiency while maintaining meticulous attention to detail, keeping you informed throughout the process.
Do you offer different finishes?
Yes! We offer a variety of finishes to complement your existing décor. From classic wood grains to modern laminates, we have a vast selection to choose from.
How do your storage systems differ from store-bought options?
We surpass store-bought options by offering superior quality materials, thicker shelving and vertical supports, a wider variety of styles and finishes, and professional installation with a warranty.
What material are our cabinets made out of?
We use Thermally fused laminate (TFL), medium fiberboard (MDF), and High pressure laminate (HPL). We offer custom orders for real wood cabinet doors tailored to your interior projects.
Thermally Fused laminate (TFL)
- Onto northern hardwoods and resin. No glue, meaning no peeling.
Medium Fiberboard (MDF)
- The majority of door and drawer fronts in kitchen, bath and home storage solutions are made with an MDF core. The Medium Density Fiberboard that The Stow Company starts with has a thermofused color matched laminate backer for a consistent finish. The Stow Company used CNC machines (computer numerical control) to precisely route or mill the sheet faces to have various decorative profile styles produced.
High Pressure Laminate (HPL)
- Similar manufacturing process to TFL except with additional Kraft paper layers and a Wear layer. HPL is more durable than TFL due to the additional layers but is also more expensive as a result. This is why it is used as an accent piece for Work Surfaces. Better for surfaces with a great chance of wear and tear such as in the Garage or other utility applications.
